Privacy notice

What we process and why
We process account details to provide sign-in and account management; business profile details and publication permission to review and publish participating businesses; and the name, email and message you submit to handle an enquiry. Public profiles show only the contact information intentionally submitted for publication. Enquiries are handled privately by the team.
Services and recipients
Vercel provides hosting and technical delivery; Supabase provides authentication, database and storage; Resend delivers enquiry emails. Opening Instagram or a business website takes you to a separate service with its own privacy terms. These links do not embed social tracking plugins. Existing billing records, where applicable, may also be processed by Stripe. No new paid package is offered in the pilot.
Logos and profile photos
Uploaded logos and photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We resize images and remove embedded metadata. Drafts are visible only to their account owner and administrators; images become public after profile approval. You can delete individual images or your business profile in your account.
Cookies, storage and tracking
The pilot uses necessary sign-in/session and preference storage, for example the selected language. We do not run advertising pixels, behavioural analytics or session recordings. Older local tracking history is cleared when the updated app loads.
Retention and your choices
You can delete your business profile or account directly after signing in and confirming. Active subscriptions must end first; administration must be transferred before deleting the last administrator account. Required payment records and documents that must lawfully be retained remain separate. Backup copies follow their retention schedule; correspondence already sent to recipients is not automatically removed. Contact us for access, corrections or further deletion requests.
Processing outside Switzerland
Our technical providers may process information outside Switzerland, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Contact privacy@diasporanow.ch for information about processing locations and safeguards applicable to your data.
